Cucumber Iced Tea - Yorkshire Style

Ingredients 

50ml Elderflower & Cucumber flavoured Gin from The Little Red Berry Co 

1 mug of cold tea with a tea spoon of dissolved sugar. Why not keep it local and use Yorkshire Tea!

Juice of quarter of a lemon

25ml Elderflower Cordial we like Side Oven bakery cordial. 

Large Ribbon of Cucumber to garnish. 

How to make it

Make a mug of black tea of medium strength and add one teaspoon of sugar and stir until dissolved. Decant into a shallow bowl so it cools more easily - This is best made in the morning for that evening or the evening before. Then refrigerate until cold.

To serve, add ice to a glass, or we like to use a medium sized jam jar. 

Pour in 50ml of Elderflower & Cucumber flavoured Gin, 25ml of Elderflower Cordial, Squeeze in the fresh lemon juice. Then pour over the cold tea. 

To garnish make a ribbon of Cucumber with a vegetable peeler and wind onto a cocktail stick. 

Sit back and enjoy a true Yorkshire cocktail!
