Pour the lime juice, sugar syrup and whisky into a shaker with ice and shake until mixed. Pour over crushed ice and add the coulis slowly so it sinks to the bottom.

It's ok to use white sugar if you don’t have brown. Liqueur coffee doesn't need to be whisky, try it with Sloe Gin, or Raspberry Gin as an alternative and more fruity option.
